I'll dominate 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
